Welcome to Gujarati Samaj Tampa Bay, Inc’s Web site, a Florida not-for-profit corporation.  The following describes how we handle information we may learn about you when you visit our Web sites. Children under the age of 13 should not use this site without the supervision of a parent or guardian. As  used  in  this  Privacy  Policy,  the  words  “you”  and  “your”  refer  to  any  person  accessing  any of the Gujarati Samaj Tampa Bay’s Web sites.  The words “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Gujarati Samaj Tampa Bay.

Information We Collect When You Visit Our Web site.

In  addition, parents  may  at  any  time  review  any Personally  Identifiable  Information collected  about  their  child  (the section below entitled “Parental Access”). If  you  visit  our Web  site to  browse  or  to  read  or  download  information,  we  may  collect  and  store:  the name  of  the  domain  name  and  host  from  which  you  access  the  Internet  (for  example,  aol.com);  the Internet  Protocol  (IP)  address  of  the  computer  you  are  using;  the  browser  software  you  use  and  your operating  system;  the  date  and  time  you  access  our  site,  and  other  activity  on  our  site;  and  the  Internet address of the Web site from which you linked to our site. Correcting Information; Opting Out

Parental Access

Whenever we conduct  an  online  activity  and have actual  knowledge  that  we  have  received  Personally Identifiable Information concerning a child under 13, our goal is to help parents ensure that their child’s privacy  is  protected. To  that  end,  we  provide  parents  with a  request  form that allows it  to  review  the Personally  Identifiable  Information we  received about  their  child,  have  this  information  deleted,  and/or request  that  there  be  no  further  collection  or  use  of  their  child's  information. The  request  form  will  be readily available to  parents  as  part  of  each online  activity for  which we  have actual  knowledge  that  we have  received  Personally  Identifiable  Information  concerning  children  under  13. Parents can  print  out and  mail or fax us  a signed form for these  purposes. We will take steps to verify the  identity of anyone requesting  information  about  a  child  and  to  ensure  that  the  person  is  in  fact  the  child's  parent  or  legal guardian.
